WHAT
ARE STUDENTS SAYING?
A
campus visit is a good idea for anyone interested in OSU. It
was very informative, more so than all the literature. Very
impressive and personable! I have attended other university
programs which did not give this one-on-one approach.
We
were very impressed with the cleanliness of the campus. We
have visited smaller colleges that were not as well kept as
Ohio State.
I
am very pleased with the product I have purchased at this University
I feel my purchase of Ohio State University will be beneficial
to my future.
We
found the Ohio State University to be the most diverse, affordable
and productive research institution in the state.
HOW
DO I APPLY?
Download
an application or apply online at the OSU Prospective Student
Site. Please specify that you are applying for direct admission
to the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
CAN
I SCHEDULE A VISIT TO CAMPUS?
We highly recommend it! Once you have had the campus tour
and met the friendliest people in the University, you
can be confident that you have made the right decision! Call
614-688-4144 to schedule an ECFD
(Experience College For a Day) appointment or 1-866-enPlant
for other options.
WHAT
IS THE BOTTOM LINE?
Depends. Current
costs for an Ohio Resident attending the Columbus campus
as a full-time student, will be $6,624. Full-time status
at a regional campus will cost $4,200. Room and Board is
an additional $6,504 and estimated costs (such as books,
supplies, travel, etc.) are estimated at $3,942. Tuition
for nonresidents of Ohio attending the Columbus campus
is $16,488 and $14,187 for regional campuses. Again, Room
and Board is a separate cost from tuition.
WHAT
ARE THE ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS?
Your acceptance to OSU will depend on your class rank,
GPA, College Entrance Exam scores and other factors.
Make sure you have the appropriate documents available
when you apply. If you havent
taken the ACT or SAT, check with your high school counselor to
schedule the exam. If you are transferring from
another college, you will need to supply an original
transcript from that institution.
HOW
DO I GET A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION?
Many scholarships
are available. The criteria vary greatly, so be sure to read each
one and figure out which ones you may be eligible for. Apply for
as many as possible, because we want to show you the money! Please
call Tom Shockey at 614-292-3846
if you have any questions.
